Making Memories :First Family Vacation at Disney

What an incredible weekend we just had. We needed to get away, so we decided to take our first family vacation to Disney. We only stayed a few days, but it was plenty especially with a 2 1/2 year old in tow. She had such a blast, so did we just getting to see her face light up. We first started out at the Magic Kingdom and had to wait a minimal amount of time to see the Princesses and get autographs (thanks Nate for trucking half way across the park to get her an autograph book.)

         Raylee and Belle!
 Raylee and Princess Aurora!
Raylee and Cinderella!
Raylee is such a princess herself. She is so tender hearted, so sweet, loving and has so much to give. She was a blast to watch on each ride, autograph, pit stop and on the flight. She always had everyone talking.
This was one of the highlights of the trip. I wish you could have seen her face when she saw Buzz. She loves Buzz lightyear and that is what she talked about most of the day. She thought she needed everything from Toy Story such as shirts, toys and whatever else she could find or think of.
  Raylee, Pooh, and Tigger
She hasn't seen much of these characters, but she sure did to love on them and give them hugs.

Isn't this a beautiful picture. This place captured so many memories for us as a family. Nothing was sweeter than to hear your child go on and on about the characters that she met, the rides she rode, the food she ate, the memorabilia she received. She got autographs from pretty much everyone. Every time we get into the car to go somewhere she asks to go see Snow White or some other Disney character. I am so glad that we decided to take her here. I can't wait to go back to see the other parks and the addition that they are adding at the Magic Kingdom.

Daddy and Raylee!!
Raylee and Pocahontas!
The Lion King show is a must see. It was absolutely incredible. Raylee decided she would go from audience to audience to help teach a special clap to call the animals.
Raylee with Pluto & Mickey.
Raylee & Minnie Mouse!
Raylee & Goofy!
My princess got her face painted like a cat. She would "meow" like a cat and literally LOVED every minute of getting make-up put on. She was so proud.
This sweet little face is so grateful for all that she receives. I am truly blessed to have such a sweet little Razorback.
At Epcot!
Raylee & Daisy!
Raylee & the amazing structures at Epcot.
Silly girl!

Raylee LOVES LOVES Toy Story! Meeting these characters were one of her favorite moments. You should see her in her boots and jessie hat. She went straight up to them and said, "YEE HAWW!"

Playing in the water!

On our way home at the Airport.

Look at my sweet baby, just like Snow White.

This sweet little girl is worth every penny spent and then some. I can't wait until next year to take her again.

Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the special mom's in my life!

A special thank you to my mom Cindy who is my rock. I can't imagine life without her! She is one of my best friends. I strive to be just like her. She has showed me so many things and I am so grateful to be able to pass them along to my child. Thank you mom for never giving up on me, always believing in me, teaching my to pray and lean on God when things aren't going right or just in my everyday life. Thank you for giving me 3 amazing sisters, who I adore more and more as I get older. Mom, I love you more than you will ever know and I am sorry I am not there to give you a big HUG and KISS on your day! Thanks for all that you do for each of us and for Raylee. I love you mom and I miss you so much!

Easter Sunday

We recently went to Texas to celebrate Easter with my family, since I had to work Easter weekend in Arkansas. We had a blast watching Raylee hunt Easter eggs and play with her cousins. She enjoyed playing outside, riding the gator with Landon, and playing with my parents new dog. We enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with  my family, while Nate was at a scoliosis seminar.

When Sunday rolled around, Nathan was able to enjoy the day with us. We woke up that morning and looked to see what the Easter bunny brought her. She was ecstatic and really didn't know what to play with. She is currently into Dora and Diego and loved her new socks and all her new learning items and puzzles. Then, we ate lunch with everyone and got the cake walk ready for everyone to play. Then the big hunt happened. Raylee would look under bushes and dried cow patties for eggs, she would get so excited when she would find an egg, however she wouldn't touch the eggs that were covered in "germs". Then, we did the cake walk which was lots of fun. Everyone really enjoys this game so much. I was in charge of the music and calling out the winning number. Everyone would win something of their choice. Raylee would jump up and down and yell every time regardless if it was her number called or not and go choose a prize. It was too cute.

Then this weekend I got off work on Sunday morning and headed home to get dressed and head south to Casa, AR to see my husbands side of the family. We really enjoyed getting to see everyone. The lunch was great and everyone enjoyed getting to chat and hang around. Nate's mom which Raylee calls, "Nana" got raylee a Easter package with jelly beans, cookies and bath confetti. Grannie gave Raylee money and a sucker and this really neat bowl that won't ever spill. Raylee thought it was a space ship. Aunt Kim and John gave a Raylee a big purple chick, which she enjoyed saying the sounds a chick makes. Aunt Trish bought Raylee a basket full of goodies, with eggs, coloring books, crayons, money eggs, and her favorite chocolates.

After everyone was stuffed from a great lunch, Aunt Trish played the Easter bunny and hid eggs outside for Raylee and Hudson to hunt. Raylee found the most eggs, however I think next year Hudson will put up a bigger fight (since he doesn't crawl yet), I do believe he enjoyed himself putting the eggs into his mouth and playing with his basket. Aunt Trish gave them all sorts of prizes for finding the prize eggs. Then we tried our best to get pictures of them together. We said our goodbyes and headed home since I had to work tonight.

Happy Easter!
